This stone tablet hanging by a leather thong from a tree copies the monogram in Dürer's painting of Adam and Eve in their garden of Eden. It is one of several works in the garden which draw parallels between its landscapes and those created in the paintings of great artists of the past, deepening the viewer's perception of both.

Dürer's monogram here "signs" a little island of turf in the Temple Pool, celebrating its flowers and grasses as Dürer did in his watercolour.
