This stone tablet is placed with closely planted trees in a circle of stone setts. Its inscription reads

A WOODLAND FLUTE
BETULA
PENDULA
CARPINUS
BETULUS
VIBURNUM
OPULUS
POPULUS
TREMULA
PRUNUS

arranged so that the U sounds follow each other down the list, and so stand for the finger holes in a flute. The ever-changing sounds of the wind in the trees and the dancing of the leaves enhance the implicit musicality. The trees are the Siver Birch, Hornbeam, Guelder Rose, Aspen and Plum.
